Honors

St. Ambrose University: These students from the Bettendorf area received scholastic and leadership achievement awards during Student Awards Night at St. Ambrose University, Davenport:

David Bloom, Bettendorf, received a Student Success award. He is majoring in computer science.

Krystal-Lyn Burger, daughter of Sheila Burger, Davenport, and Tim Burger and Joyce Ethington, Bettendorf, was inducted into Beta Beta Beta biological honor society. She recently completed her junior year at St. Ambrose where she is majoring in biology.

Kristin Koch, daughter of Paul and Sheree Koch, Bettendorf, was inducted into Alpha Chi national honor society and Pi Theta Epsilon occupational therapy honor society. She is majoring in psychology and enrolled in the master of occupational therapy program.

Katherine Moser, Bettendorf, was inducted into Alpha Chi national honor society and Delta Epsilon Sigma national honor society and was a finalist for the Sister Annette Walters Award for Outstanding Psychology Student. She graduated this spring (summa cum laude) with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Samantha Stabile, daughter of Heidi and Anthony Stabile, Bettendorf, was inducted into Ioeta Omega Kappa Delta Pi national honor society. She is a senior majoring in history and teacher education.

Michael Tandy, Bettendorf, received the Above and Beyond Award in Security. He is majoring in business and history.

Joseph Urmy, son of Jeff and Cindy Urmy, Bettendorf, was inducted into Ioeta Omega Kappa Delta Pi national honor society. He is a senior majoring in elementary education.

Cayleah Willits, Bettendorf, was inducted into Ioeta Omega Kappa Delta Pi national honor society. She recently completed her junior year at St. Ambrose where she is majoring in elementary education.
